Firmware Version:

Hi, I want to use TP link RE 450 as access point.  Have selected extender as access point. Problem is network cable not getting detected. Same network cable connected to directly computer or other router works fine.

I bought new cable thinking issue with old cable still same problem.

Thanks,
Rahul

Hello@Rahul1201 ,

Did you set up AP Mode as the guide here :

(via Web UI)https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1401/

For 'network cable not getting detected.' how does the DESKTOP symbol looks like on Windows at that time?

To check if the Ethernet port is broken, please set up range extender in Extender mode, later wire a computer to range extender and see it shows the Ethernet cable is detected.
