Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20200708 rel.55037(4555)

Hello all,

I have purchased this router at the end of last year,

Since then I have been having issues with the WIFI signal that stops working unexpectedly.

This issue appears on both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz alike.

I've turned off all smart features such as

  • Smart Connect
  • OFDMA

Resetting the router back to default settings fixes the issue for a short period of time.

Steps were taken with no success.

  • Keeping all settings at default values
  • I've tried to lower the transmit power
  • turning off 5.0 GHz while keeping 2.4 GHz and vice versa
  • Reverting to old firmware
  • Changing channel bandwidth
  • Changing the mode
  • Changing the security mode
  • enabling/disabling Airtime fairness

Logs do not show any issue, as far as the router is concerned, everything is running fine.

Your inputs in this regards is highly appreciated.

Regards,

S

@dss250

Hi, I am also facing the exact same issue. I am using this router for my smart home on 2.4ghz network. I have enabled the notification on my smart home system to notify me of any drive goes offline. Every 10-15 minutes a very various notifications saying that few of my devices went offline. Then again after few seconds I get notification that they can back online. This shows that the router is loosing the connection. Earlier I was using a TP link A9 which used to work fine but not this new AX50. Even I loose the network on my smartphone as well.

Need help from the tech team here.
