Model: AC500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 191223

A quick question: when (if at all) is it planned to add WPA3 and OneMesh support for the Archer C5400X?

Lovely router, but it could do with such an update, especially as some lower-end models (for example the Archer C2300) have already received such an update.

There is currently no plan to add the support for WPA3 or Onemesh on the Archer C5400X, while you are suggested to keep an eye on the compatibility list on the TP-Link official website just in case there is an update in the future.

@Kevin_Z  Thank you for the info, much appreciated. Although I do not use the C5400X now (I have it set up at my in-laws', while I use the AX11000), I must say it is an excellent router. A pity then if it won't receive WPA3/OneMesh support.

Assuming there are still no plans on adding One Mesh support to this model, I would strongly recommend reconsidering. It would go a long way in promoting brand loyalty, especially for those of us who have spent hundreds on one of your high end routers. Thanks!

@ToddZ

I agree with you fully - OneMesh support for this router should be obligatory. And it is a great pity that it is not planned at all.
