Here's a referemce that you could use for configuring the WDS.

Remember that IP of the C6 router should be in the same subnet as the main router.

Yes i kept same subnet of root router

But its same

Its taking soo much time to connect to c6 wifi after disable DHCP

If i enable DHCP I'm able to connect to c6 wifi quickly

And WDS not working

No internet getting

On terminal i type

ping <root router ip address>

It says unreachable

When you set up WDS following the reference I sent, did you check in (C6) Advanced > Status > Wireless to see the WDS status ?

When the WDS status is Run, it means WDS bridging is successfully built.

Exclamation mark means you don't have an Internet connectivity.

DHCP should be OFF for sure. What's the main router model ?

You are using 2.4 GHz band for WDS right ?

i'm able to extend it with Mi router 4c and with tp link 300N model

but couldn't extend with Tp link c6

Read through this thread and see if you are affected by the same problem, I believe the user have successfully resolved that at the end.

Not working

My problem will be solve if you can give this firmware version

On my c6 router admin panel

There are missing options as compared to this video

https://youtu.be/QCCkT19tj8A

On this video

In operation mode

switch to range extender

After that goto wifi 2.4ghz or 5ghz

And click scan to search other nearby wifi router for range extender

But on my c6 router there's no scan options

Can you give that firmware please

This video refers to some other model TP-Link device. Archer C6 v2 doesn't have Range extender mode - only Router and AP mode, thus you don't have Scan button in your wireless settings interface. All the FW that I have access are publicly available via TP-Link's web portal.

Have you read through the thread I mention in details ? There are couple of tweaks that may help you with the WDS issue. WDS is your only option.
