Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200908 Rel. 42617(5553)

Hi TPLink Team,

My router information is as follows:

Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200908 Rel. 42617(5553)

Hardware Version: Archer AX10 v1.20

Latest Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20201116 Rel. 57022 (Available to download now)

As you can see above, I've a latest firmware update available to download. However, i'm unable to do so as I get the error "Unable to connect to the cloud server. Please try again later." I tried some solution available here in the forum asking to change the system time setting from "Get from Internet" to "Get from Managing Device" or "Manually". So, I tried all these options but in vain.

Also, my current DNS settings are as follows. Some posts asked to change the DNS as well. So, i'm letting you know this. My internet is working otherwise. Just the firmware update is not happening. I even tried doing the same from Tether app & that doesn't help either. :(

Primary: 1.1.1.1

Secondary: 1.0.0.1

So, can someone please figure out & help me with this issue?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Regards,

Eric121

Hello, can you try with another DNS server on the AX10, such as 8.8.8.8?

@Kevin_Z  Awesome! Thanks, mate! This worked. Didn't know this DNS setting can cause issue. What's wrong with Cloudflare DNS? Why is it incompatible with TP-Link Routers?

Do let me know, if you happen to know the answer, mate. :)

Great to know that changing the Google DNS solved the issue for you.

As far as I know, some DNS servers may be temporarily unstable for some connections in some areas, thus we can try to adjust the DNS servers to different ones.
