Can't set static ip
I went to the router setup page and found out there was the latest firmware available for upgrade. I upgraded to it from the router page and after upgrade, the router got bricked.
I had to manually reset the router using a tool called tftpd64.452.
There was 3 firmware available. I used the 2nd one to revert back to.
Now I can sometimes access the login page and even if I do I can't save the settings when I enter static IP details. It always reverts to dynamic ip.
I'm using wired-broadband (alliance) network.
Please help.

Hello, sorry about that.
If this is the case, it is suggested to contact the local tech support again to check for the warranty as this router might be faulty.

Hello,
Does it mean the WAN connection type will go back to Dynamic IP after you change it to Static IP and save it? Please reset the router to factory defaults again via the web interface as below:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/497/ (Method 2)
If this makes no difference, try to upgrade the firmware to the latest manually, and here is the download link:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-c6/#Firmware
Below is the guidance to update it:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2139/ (Case 1)
May it help.

Hi I called technical support today and after reset I was told to upgrade to the latest firmware - Archer C6(EU)_V2_200630 (which I did the first time) and my router got bricked again (only POWER LED SOLID ON). I tried to reset but the same thing.
Previously I tried the same thing and I had to revert to the earlier two firmware using this tool tftpd64.452
do I need to use the tool again to revert back to previous firmware? Also why there is a broken firmware uploaded in the website?
what to do now?
