I have configurated several times the extender.
if i plug the wired ethernet connection the internet at my house just stops.
As soon as I unplug the ethernet cable from the RE200 extender the internet recovers.
I have reseted and reconfigured the extender several times.
Does anyone had the same problem?
Hi, how do you want to use this extender? Do you want to use it to extender your host network wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable?
If you want to extend your host network wirelessly, there is no need to plug in an Ethernet cable between the extender and the host router, as they're already connected via wifi.
However, if you want to use it as an Access Point and connect it to your host router with an Ethernet cable, please configure it to work at Access Point mode but not range extender mode:
