I purchased a TL-WN822N Wifi adapter for my desktop PC (Windows 10), to allow me to change its location in the apartment.
I installed the driver from the CD, and the installation wizard reports successfull completion.
However, after installation, Windows reports it as "other device" and not a network device:





So I can't start the adapter as Wifi and can't search for Wifi networks.
I tried to uninstall and install few times, also disabled the anti-virus and firewall before installation, but same result.
It seems that when I connect the adapter to a laptop, it does work. But what do I do with my desktop?
