Model : TL-MR6400

Hardware Version : MR6400 v2 000000000

Firmware Version : 1.0.15 Build 170912 Rel.75663n

ISP : A1 Slovenia

I am using TL-MR6400 as G3 LTE modem-router.
I am unable to access remote management of my router from outside the network or any computers inside the network.

I tried many options and observed the following strange situation:

If I do System tools->Diagnostic->Traceroute I get IP 192.168.1.1 (I will call this ip1) in the route if I have my router set to IP 192.168.0.1 (I will call this ip0)
If I change the IP of the router to ip1 and restart, then traceroute shows ip0
So basically I can't get the IP of the router to be the same as that shown in traceroute - it is always one setup change behind

The same problem is shown under System Log:
W is always the oposite of my IP: if my ip is 192.168.1.1 then it shows:
L=192.168.1.1 : M = 255.255.255.0
W1=DHCP : W = 192.168.0.100 : M = 255.255.255.0 : G = 0.0.0.0

Another thing I do not understand:
Under status following 3G/4G IP is shown: 10.4.219.*
But trough whatsmyip website I get 188.230.129.* as my IP.

I found out that the basic problem was because I had dynamic IP. Now I got static IP from my mobile provider.
Now I get the same IP in router status as through whatsmyip.

But I still can not access remote management or any ports.
And the weird thing with IPs in traceroute is still happening.

10.4.219.X is a local ip so you can't remote to this router. contact your ISP to assign a public ip to you.

I got info from my mobile provider. Even though I got static IP this does not have ports enabled so there is currently nothing that can be done about it.

Anyone have any idea about the second part - why traceroute goes through 192.168.1.1 if I have router set at 192.168.0.1 and vice versa (traceroute goes through 192.168.0.1 if I have router set at 192.168.1.1)?

even though you are using static ip, but the 10.4.219.* is a private ip address which means there must be another NAT product in the front(it might be on your isp end) which will protect the local network, that is why you are unable to remote manage the device from outside, you can either let your ISP assign a public ip address for you or open related ports on their end(on the NAT product in the front)
