Model : Archer C2

Hardware Version : v1 00000002

Firmware Version : 0.9.1 4.2 v0032.0 Build 160706 Rel.37961n

ISP : Funkfeuer.at

Hi,

while debugging this problem, I thought posting my experiences in the forum might help...

From time to time Archer C2 drops the PPPoE WAN connection, thus needing a hard reboot (or power off/on).
Trying to soft reboot it from webui does not fix it, it must be hard rebooted for PPPoE connection to work again.
This time it was running for about 39days, but it also already happened after 1-2 weeks of uptime.
In system log (set to level debug) I see only dhcp messages, I've enabled remote syslog now in the hope to get some more information on why this is happening...

Checking for a new firmware made me wonder, because the router runs:
0.9.1 4.2 v0032.0 Build 160706 Rel.37961n
but the website offers:
0.9.1_4.1_up_boot(160512)_2016-05-12_11.54.47
so the website offers an older version than im running already?!

Is there anyone using PPPoE on this device on WAN connection and having similar issues?

Next time when this happens, I'll post all information here, in the hope that it may lead to a solution.
