Newbie here.

Just installed an AC 2800 to replace the router supplied by TalkTalk. However, the speed is way below what I was getting with TalkTalk according to Sppedtest.net. When I try the speed test within the router settings it says I'm offline!

I have fibre connection.

Do you mean VR2800? I think you can check the DSL status on the web interface and check if it's sycned to VDSL2 and check the Current Rate (kbps) SNR Margin (dB) Line Attenuation (dB) Errors (pkts) , that may help too. BTW, The test result is from wired connection or wifi connection? Maybe re-install the router can fix your problem.
