Hi,

I've just changed my old WR842ND with the new AC5400, everything works fine only one issue.
The internet speed in the 2.4 GHZ is giving me almost half of my speed connection.

My connection is 80 MBPS and am getting around 45 MBPS.

My old TP-Link was working fine with full speed, and i tried to different configurations and changing security settings but nothing worked.

what can i do?

What about the settings like changing the channel bandwidth to 40MHz, selecting a more clean channel(use inSSIDer to scan) and WPA2-PSK AES security.

Please check the link speed of your wifi adapter at first (displayed on wireless Status).
In addition, when you mention the speed, what exactly the unit is, Mbps or MBps?

Model : tp-link archer c5400

Hardware Version : ArcherC5400 v1.0

Firmware Version : 1.0.2 Build 20161128 Rel. 33043(US)

ISP : Batelco - Bahrain " Fiber optics "

The speed i mean is Mbps.

I checked the status and its 72Mbps.

My adapter speed is up to 150 Mbps.

I tried also to disable NAT Boost but was no good.

As i said my old TP-link was working great , weird that the new and much advanced is giving my this problem.

It seems that your device only negotiates a speed of 72Mbps with the router which means only 20MHz bandwidth is utilized.
In this case, it's recommended to change the channel bandwidth to 40MHz on the admin page of the router. Better login the admin page again to check if the channel width has been changed to 40MHz successfully.
After that, please reboot the router and re-connect your device to the router's 2.4GHz wifi again, checking that if the link speed on status page has changed to full 150Mpbs.

In addition, do you enable Smart Connect on your C5400?
