VR2600 WiFi Drops when Streaming to IPlayer, Netflix etc
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have noticed that when I'm streaming content to my Smart TV (Samsung) such as over iPlayer or Netflix, then the WiFi signal drops and loses connection to mobile devices, Sonus etc. I assume the VR2600 is dishing out all its bandwidth to the streaming services and not saving anything back for other WiFi services. I assume I can fix this by rationing the bandwidth to the Smart TV using Advanced - Bandwidth Control / Controlling Rules. Grateful for any help as to whether this behaviour is "normal" [I never had this with BT Home Hub 5] and if so what settings are sensible. Thanks.
