Thank you. Is little more difficult for me because my router has maybe European Firmware. I can find the old firmware by using a website archive as in tp-link there is no more the "old" and not bugged Firmware. I think this morning I will try to contact tp-link also by phone and wait a reply via email also. Uff... In Italy seems is very difficult or impossible talk with the support by phone.

The new Firmware of TD-W9970 has Europe flag (EU) but the old firmware who is not yet downloadable from tp-link website seems to be Universal (UN) I will see what I can do. Thanks.

The Italian support by the Phone has told me if the modem work (means Internet is working) and make modem is not KO there is no issue.

So I have my modem let not working after the update and the reply from the Italian TP-LINK is: Internet is working? So no issue.
The technician has refused to alert the Firmware staff because it say is the technician who decide what issue alert send to the Firmware Team on China and what not.

So my issue was not resolved, I told to the Technician I will try to use different product from TP-LINK after this experience.

Now any help to contact TP-LINK Firmware staff or maybe the China company for let they know about this issue, my case issue will be appreciated.

the link you provide is pointing the visitor to the tp-link.es is not the international or the Italian website who is maybe more correct for me,
it also point to the page where you can download the last Firmware who remove the LED function to alert when Internet is in use.

Sorry but I think your post doesn't help.
Anyway I have heard the support of tp-link they said that new Firmware have removed the LED flashing when Internet is in use.
For that reason I told to TP-LINK who cmaybe I will no more use TP-LINK product or modem as I think remove LED flashing when Internet is in use and decide to make LED always on is a BAD decision.

When I have to choose a Modem for a network I want that modem can inform me about the status of the network, seems with the new TP-LINK Firmware that is no more possibile as is a static modem than once connected al LED will be always ON.

Before was better, was better the old firmware where, if Internet was in use the LED was flashing.
Bad decision from TP-LINK I think they have lost one customer or more.

so I think to be lucky because i buyed the product when the default firmware was not that (new)

the new firmware keep all led always on - was so much better the old also have Internet connection, Bandwidth Control Issues.

In those day I updated also device WR841N v8 00000000 and again also this last firmware are broken for me. I was able again also here to resume the old firmware.

Seems all Firmware update of TP-Link create only issue to me so in the future... will be difficoult for me keep trust on TP-LINK the risk is to buy a device and to see it not work.
Last Firmware of WR841N v8 00000000 firmware version TL-WR841ND(UN)_V8_170210 create an Authetication wifi error on all device after some minutes hours of work.

Very sad to see all this issue in new Firmware. Also this new Firmware are all stable since different month so you keep issue. Only way for me was resume the old firmware and for the future I think I will have to look on other brand for my device.
Very sad and deluded. This is my experience. Products seems good, software was good, newest software are full of issues for me in different devices.
