I have two new Archer VR600 routers both connected to wireless broadband services from the same ISP and both with a 4G backup. The router is setup with ppoe on the wireless service and both sites have static IP addresses.
I'm trying to activate a VPN between the two sites but no matter what I do the VPN link keeps being reported as down. I'm only interested in getting the VPN operational on the primary wireless service and not on the 4G backup.

Is there any secret to getting the VPN to go up and stay up?
