My MR200 is great except it wont passthrough the IPSEC traffic of my Cisco VPN or VPN Unlimited clients on different machines.
I have updated the firmware via the web but no change.
Looking around this problem seems to have been around for a while, I can't understand why TP-Link haven't fixed this.

@coatsdarlingto finally I found a way that fix this issue however its look a little like strange!
Follow the below steps:
- Download the v160412 firmware from the https://static.tp-link.com/res/down/soft/Archer_MR200(EU)_V1_160412.zip and update your device.
- After reboot, download v160706 firmware from here https://static.tp-link.com/res/down/soft/MR200_V1_Beta_160706.zip and try to update it again.
- As you know the error may be appeared at the previous step and before rebooting, so cancel the process and manually reboot the device by clicking on reboot icon at top right corner of web page.
- Now update the device to v160412 firmware aging and let it to reboot also.
- After rebooting, check the firmware version, now your device updated to the 0.9.1 0.0 v004a.0 Build 160706 Rel.40546n firmware!
I hope these steps could help you and others.

Same issue, same versions etc. May need to return the item for refund as the device support doesn't appear to be very good.

I installed OPENVPN successfully as a bypass, waiting for a working firmware for this device. A lot of other issues. Support inefficient

Same issue on my site. I try to use the MR200 only as a modem in front of my actual DHCP and another Cisco router managing the VPN tunnel. Using this setup already for long time with ADSL and LTE router without problems. All my attempts to find a workaround by configuring port forwarding etc. failed. Please fix the problem, it is not a cheap router to just collect dust in my office.

Same problem, even after upgrading firmware to V 5/9/2016. Passthrough is enabled. Tunnel is established (welcome banner is shown) but no traffic whatsoever. Can't even Google with tunnel up.
VPN=IPSEC, which works fine everywhere else.
Please fix!

Hello
I have been using a beta update for the MR200, which you should find is available through tp link support.
It did fix the problems I was having with l2tp and ipsec.

I received those as well. The zip I received contains three .bin files and some instructions (PDF). They told me each .bin is for a different VPN protocol. I have asked them (twice) which one to use for IPSEC, not getting any response. Which one did you install to fix your IPSEC connection? Also, did you follow any of the instructions in the PDF? Thanks!
