Hi,

I have a M7350 v3 with latest firmware M7350_V3_151021.
I used the special character ($) in my wifi password. It is saved and accepted successfully and the display shows the correct password with $.
However when I try to connect to the wifi network using the same password, authentication will fail. Tried with windows 10 laptop, android 6.0 and apple ios 9.2 all consistent.

Please release a new firmware to fix this problem. I do not have the same problem on my other M7350 v1 with M7350_V1_150204.
Thanks

There should be no problem with $.
I tried 12345678$ as password and connect with ios 9.3.
It connect successfully.
Do you set other special character password?

Or sometimes input tool may affect this?

Hi,

Having a $ at the end of a string works eg. 12345678$
However having the $ in the middle does not eg. PASS$word!, PASS$word, save$us4ll. The device will show that it has changed to your intended password on the OLED display, but you will not be able to connect using the new password. Surprising, if you were to connect using the previous accepted password, it will be able to connect.

Please issue a new firmware to fix this problem.

hi lancified

try to "forget" the network on your device and see if it will accept the connection once you
type the password with the "$" in the middle part of the password
