VR200 and BT TV

Model : AC750 Archer VR200
Hardware Version :0.8.0 0.3 v0053.0 Build 150906 Rel.32427n
Firmware Version : V1
ISP : BT Infinity
I've just purchased the above modem/router to replace my Home Hub and Openreach modem (and an old TP link access point). Setup seemed simple at first and all seemed to be running well. I was able to use the internet in no time, and use the BT Player and Netflix etc to watch TV,. However I have noticed that I cannot view any of the TV extra subscription channels (BT Sport, Sky Sports, FOX etc). My youview box returns the error IPC6023.
Can anyone help with whats required to set this up, or if its even possible.

Havent been able to solve it no. I've gone back to my old setup and the router is about as useful to me as a doorstop at the moment. The manual mentions IPTV settings, but I cant even find these in the router menu.

Meldrew, I've noticed a firmware update (after giving up hope). Havent had a chance to try it yet, but it specifically mentions Youview.

IPTV and Youview
2016-03-15 18:28:30
Hi Kevin
I returned my VR200 to Amazon and replaced it with a VR900, quite a bit more expensive but as I found out well worth it. The set up was dead easy and I had IPTV support straight away.
The strange thing is IPTV worked without turning it on, in the IPTV configuration page. I wonder if anyone has any idea why it works maybe someone at TP-Link knows?
.
Regards
Meldrew

Had I not thrown out all the packaging before noticing the problem, I'd have probably returned mine too. Unrelated to this, I decided to stop my BT tv packages anyway. So I've actually started using the unit. However the wifi performance (all be it better than the homehub) is still not up to scratch. So it's turned off and I'm using my much older access point. Not one of my best purchases I don't think I will be buying from TP-Link in the future.

Just additional to this thread. I just purchased the VR200 and it is now working with BT Youview TV - didn't work out of the box admittedly, but the latest firmware update from the website fixed it, no special configuration required:
Firmware version: 0.8.0 0.5 v0053.0 Build 160122 Rel.41839n
I'm really satisfied with my purchase - the router is way better than the BT Homehub 5 which had intermittent Wifi and internet dropouts and some really annoying limitations such as being unable to change DNS. In our house at least the VR200 has a much stronger Wifi signal.
