How to force Archer C7 work in 802.11.ac mode?

I am using a TP-Link Archer C7 v2 router with firmware 3.14.2 Build 150304 Rel.58409n, and an Asus PCE-AC68 802.11ac Network Adapter.

This setup should be able to work in 802.11.ac mode but when checking with different Wi-Fi scanners the C7 is always working in 802.11.n mode.

What can I do to force the C7 work in 802.11.ac mode?

The Archer C7 v1 is not wifi certified with no settings for wireless mode or channel width under 5GHz wireless in the webgui.

The Archer C7 v2 is wifi certified but again with no settings for wireless mode or channel width under 5GHz wireless in the webgui.

Thanks for the answer. And I who thought I paid for a IEEE 802.11ac/n/a 5GHz router, it says so in the specs fof the C7.

It is an 802.11AC router it's just that the 5GHz wireless webgui settings leave a lot to be desired. I doubt it is an oversight, more likely Qualcomm Atheros or TP-LINK decided that said settings should not be present in the webgui for some reason.
