I bought the TD-W8968 Modem/Router but I am facing a strange problem. When the internet is not used for sometime (the modem is kept on), the internet connection goes down. The "Internet Info" in summary page shows status as DOWN. The only way to recover is to do a router reboot. I called Airtel support, the technician mentioned it is a router issue. I never faced any issue with my earlier D-Link router, but had to change the router since it konked off.

You can check if you have checked the Dial on demand option.If yes,please un-check it and it should not disconnect.

"Dial on demand" option is already unset. It still gets disconnected.
