Hello !
I am using a TL-WR4300ND and bricked it when I flashed the DD-WRT,my router just became a useless box.
I called the hotline and this situation was not in Warranty, it is really a pity.
After trying many times, they finally offer me a way to fix my router.
I have to say,I got an amazing support from TP-LINK Support, I am going to share this method with you guys.
OK,here we go ,firstly, you need to set up a TFTP Server on your computer with IP 192.168.0.66/24,
( http://download.cnet.com/Tftpd32/3001-2085_4-10114225.html?hlndr=1)
(You can refer to this link to configure the ip settings: http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-553.html )
Download the latest available firmware from TP-LINK website.
Here comes the most important part, switch off your router and Connect a LAN port of the TL-WDR4300 to your TFTP Server machine.
Hold down the Reset button on the back of the router and switch it on till you could see the information below in the log viewer option.
Obviously, you have to press the log viewer at first, you can see the name was wdr4300v1_tp_recovery.bin.
You may need to try it several times.
Rename the file name as wdr4300v1_tp_recovery.bin which you download from the TP-LINK website and browse to the folder where you saved the renamed firmware.
Ensure the firmware name and folder path was correct.
What I am going to say was the most complex part of the whole process,
switching off your router and hold down the Reset button on the back of the router and switch it on again,
release the reset button when there pop-up a flashing window.
Wait for some time until the router reboot itself.
Congratulations when you finished these process, this really a hard work for you and me. I tried many times till I get the success.
Hope you guys as lucky as I am.
Fitz

My problem fix Solved.OctavioEd wrote
I have the same issue with restarting. Heroeda, did you or anyone else find a fix?
1).open board and soldering TP18 to TP38 and TP28 to TP48 should be connected.
2).Connect usb to TTL GND,Tx and Rx pins. (Tx from schematic goes to Tx pin of router, Rx from schematic to Rx of router
3).set IP pc 192.168.1.100
4).Install tftpgui anda copas firmware to tftproot rename to code.bin
5).run tftpgui (don't any set up)start only
6) set usb to TTL:
Bits per second: 115200
Data bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: none
7). Open PuTTY via serial see set no.6 COMx x see device manager.
8).Once you click "Open", then you should see the router's console. While the router is connected to your computer using the usb-serial cable we just created, then power the device off, then on again, while device boots, (within 1-2 seconds) you need to be on the putty window typing the word "tpl". YOU MUST BE VERY FAST!! If you successfully log in
9). Write comand:
Hornet> erase 0x9f020000 +0x3c0000
Hornet> tftpboot 0x81000000 code.bin
Hornet> cp.b 0x81000000 0x9f020000 0x3c0000
Hornet> bootm 0x9f020000
10).wait ROUTER reboot and 3 led indikator on debrick Solved

I'm using WR841N
V13. I'm using LEDE fw. I use tftp to restore to stock firmware but not work.
This is Log Viewer:
"Connection received from 192.168.0.2 on port 1237 [24/11 15:52:41.044]
Read request for file . Mode octet [24/11 15:52:41.045]
File : error 2 in system call CreateFile The system cannot find the file specified. [24/11 15:52:41.045]"
How to solve this problem, bros? Does TFTP support 841N V13?

TFTP can't upgrade this model, it will make the device crash. Maybe you can contact your seller or retailer to ask for help now...

Solved - Thanks @Guazi and @Fitz
2018-04-04 11:13:30
I signed up to thank @Guazi and @Fitz,
In my case it only worked with:
1 - TFTPF64.460
2 - Straight network cable (can not be crossover)
3 - Firmware of the link posted by @Fit
First of all configure your network card with fixed ip 192.168.0.66 and masks 255.255.255.0 the others (gatway and dns servers in white)

Re:How to recovery the router when you bricked it?

Hello. I have an Archer C7 v4 that when you push the power button, the front leds flash instantly on then off and stay very very dim. It broadcasts no wireless signal and if you plug into ethernet, it doesnt get recognized but, if you plug from another routers ethernet to its(archer c7) WAN port, then attach cord to its(archer c7) ethernet to your computer, it connects you to the other router just like it(Archer c7) isnt even there. So..... ???? How do i fix this? All help will be extremely appreciated. Also reset button and wps button doesnt function for tftp access.
