Im sitting with the same problem, but im running Windows7 x64. Tried it on both my computers at work and home and getting the same error message. Updated the Microsoft Visual c++ and still same problem. I am using the MA260 Dongle with Vodacom sim. Please Help Thanx Stefan Roos

Modem not working: MA260 Runtime error

Modem was working an hour ago and not anymore.
Uninstalled reinstalled 10 times still not working. Tried hot fix and still not working.
Operating system is Windows 7.

Is it possible for you to try on different computers?
Disable anti-virus and windows firewall.

In the term of C language when you write or make a programme and then try execute a value at that particular time when your program compile easily but didn't show you any value is called runtime error.
