Where is the FTP server? In the same network as mobile and laptop?
Ensure IP settings are correct and its IP address should be in the same subnet as the mobile and laptop.

Hi diamond,
I'm just using the router in my pocket to have internet on all my devices. In other words, the FTP-server is at a hosting provider, not in the same network.
If I would instead use my mobile as a router (or my home router) it WILL connect to the FTP. It's a FTP open on the internet as long as you have the right login and password (not hidden within a network)

Since it's a FTP open on the internet, can you provide the right link? I'll test if I can get the login page. It should help to confirm it is M5350's problem or not.
