Hi all,

Does anyone know if TP-Link ever offere a fix to this problem, where the utility program steals the focus from other programs that you may be trying to use? I have tried every solution offered by other forum members, ie;

minimising the utility with an open tab that does not update regularly (eg 'Advanced')
[*]leaving the utility open on the desktop
[*]uninstalling the utility altogether and just installing the driver and then using windows built-in utility to connect

and I still have the problem, even with the utility not installed :(

Not sure if TP-Link monitor these forums, but if they do then surely they must be aware? It is such an annoying problem, the only way to stop it happening for me is to actually unplug the usb adaptor from the pc, which then obviously loses the network connection, but at least I can carry on working until I need the connection again!

Go to Start, type in msconfig in Search Box and press Enter.
Check if you can find TP-LINK Wireless Configuration Utility. Disable it.
