Region : Australia

Model : TL-MR3420

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version : TL-MR3420_V2_150319

ISP : Telstra Bigpond ADSL2+4G

It is set to WAN Preferred however it just doesn’t work.
The switching to 4g works perfectly after a few mins but doesn’t switch back tried waiting for an hour and no change, is there a bug? Or extra setting I can check to fix this?

As I know, the bug has been fixed with firmware version 140912. Can you try that firmware to see what happens?
TL-MR3420_V2_140912 5.Fix the bug that the backup link won't revert to the main link when the main connection resumes to normal again;

I have the same issue with last Firmware version. Only way to revert to wan is to unplug / plug the WAN cable.
Do you have any configuration that works (DHCP, fix IP, etc ) ?
Thanks
