Found Disable NAT Option NX200

I’m hoping someone can help please. I have found an option to disable NAT. It is under advance/network/internet.
Select modify connection. I’m using a SIM CARD for internet. Scroll to bottom, select advance and it’s there under MTU Size header.
What I’m trying to find out is, if I disable NAT does that disable NAT for both WAN & LAN?
I’m thinking that is a solution to solve double NAT.
Thanks in advance.

If you go through the document I posted, you'll see that you won't be using Asus router DHCP server at all - it will work in Ap mode.
The gateway for any device in your local network would be the NX200 - thus you'll avoid the double NAT.

How come that you have a double NAT in your network, describe your topology and devices.
In general when you want to avoid a double NAT, it's better to take this approach.

@terziyski hello and thank you for your reply. I will hopefully have a bit of time after work to read the info you sent, much appricated. Thank you.
My Network Setup is NX200 as main router using 5g mobile connection for internet and I am hoping to connect a 2nd router to control all other devices and tasks.
Connection from NX200 to 2nd router would be LAN port from NX200 to WAN port of 2nd Router.
I was wondering if i disable NAT from the NX200 but mark as default Gateway via WAN connection in 2nd router
Setting the clients up in DHCP from 2nd router to use default gateway as 2nd router.
This may stop the double NAT scenario, that being NAT from 2nd router send to NX200 to be NAT again. I hope that makes sense.
NX200 2nd Router
LAN Port WAN Port
192.168.100.1--------------------------192.168.100.20
LAN Port
192.168.10.1-------------------------Clients.
A bridge Mode or IP Passthrough would be helpful but I think that is not a option with the NX200. thanks again.

What's the model of the second router ? If it's NX200 you could connect it as satellite device in Easymesh to the first one and avoid the double NAT.
If it's a common wireless router then you can use the document I sent to configure in AP mode and avoid the double NAT.
In both cases the main NX200 router NAT will be enabled (as it is).

@terziyski hi terziyski. Thanks for the quick reply. The second router is common, ASUS RT AX86U.
I did have a Quick Look at the file. In my case I would be using the Ethernet cable to link the 2 routers. I'll give that a go tomorrow and let you know.
Would I be right in thinking that I would have to configure DHCP in the ASUS RT AX86U for clients to use the NX200 as a default gateway? As well as ASUS RT AX86U own gateway?
Thanks again, I'll be trying that tomorrow.

Hi, welcome to our community.
We noticed that you left a comment and voted in the thread.
As you see, Archer NX200 does not support bridge mode. So only disabling NAT does not make sense.
To avoid double NAT, you may consider setting your Asus router as AP mode.
Thank you and best regards.

@Marvin_S hello thanks for your idea. I was thinking if the NAT was enabled on my ASUS then via WAN to NX200, would the NX200 just act as a gateway? My logic of Networking is beginner with a bit of experience. Hence my question may seem a odd suggestion to some. Thankfully I have the same solution given kindly from another member and yourself. Thank you for your help.
