Model: Archer NX200

Firmware Version:

Recently installed ARCHER NX200, which wasn't displayed on the puck list to post this message!!!

I'm having issues where some smart phones, tablets and laptops will happily connect to the WiFi with no issues and some will only report as "Connected with no Internet". Does anybody know what is going on, I've never experienced such inconsistency over such a short distance from the router.

I have similar issues - some devices cannot connect to router after a while - very annoying. Workaround is to restart the router. Have to do it couple times per week.

Hi, welcome to our community.

1. Can you share the models of devices connected to the router(but no internet)? Are they connected to 2.4GHz or 5GHz band of your router?

2. Please take the sim card out of the router, put it in your phone, enable Hotspot on your phone, connected those devices to the hospot to confirm whether the internet works or not.

3. If you have another sim card, please test it in the router as well.

4. It is suggested to change DNS on the router for a try referring to the guide.

5. And what is the hardware and firmware of your Archer NX200?

6. Who is the ISP of your sim card(s)?

Thank you and best regards.

Thank you for your reply.

Firmware Version:1.4.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240814 Rel.58842n Hardware Version:Archer NX200 v1.0 00000000

My ISP is Telenor in Stockholm, Sweden.

It is not a problem with a sim-card as I had it in another 4G router before and all worked fine.

I think I saw most problems with Playstation 5 and my mobile Samsung S23. I would say on 5GHz, but I had Band Steering enabled, so it might be switching.

To mitigate I did 3 things:

1. Added dns servers like you suggested.

2. Turned off Band Steering (Smart Connect) and have now 2 separate SSIDs because I got tired of my mobile moving to slower 2.4 band in another room of my apartment. I don't think signal gets so bad that the change is needed. Anyway I want max speed for my devices - so now they have no choice but to stay on 5 band :)

3. Changed address lease time in DHCP settings from 2 hours (default) to 12 hours.

I'll see how it goes and let you know. But I am frankly not that happy with the product. I expected it to function better out of the box given a lot of good reviews online.
