AX72 Freezing every 10-12 hours
AX72 Freezing every 10-12 hours
My Archer AX72 has started completely freezing (and all connected devices lose Internet) every 10-12 hours, and only a power cycle resolves the issue. It seems to only happen when used with a WPA-8631P (V4) extender kit. I've tried a full factory reset on the extenders and they are on the latest firmware too.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar / ideally got a fix as I'm out of ideas now.

Hello@Shozer,
Thanks for your reply and detailed test result.
Did you get this test result after removing the powerline adapter and disabling Mesh?
Could you please help us confirm:
1. Can it work stably if you remove the powerline adapter but use Mesh?
2. Can it work stably if you keep the powerline adapter but disable Mesh?
3. Is there an ISP modem in front of the router? When the problem occurs, can you use a wired PC to test the ISP modem network?
Please turn off saving mode of the powerline adapter: How to prepare for using the tpPLC Utility
For DHCP settings, you can log into your router, go to Advanced > Network > LAN to check if the DHCP is checked or not. You can also modify the IP Address Pool, Address Lease Time, Default Gateway and other settings here.

Hi,
1. I've haven't tried enabling Mesh on the Router with no Powerlines on the network. It seems a little pointless with only the Router - but I can see it may help troubleshoot the issue. I will try this asap.
2. The router had been stable for 4 days with the Powerlines (well 2 of the 3 I have) in the network, but with Mesh disabled on the AX72. I enabled Mesh on the AX72 and Powerlines this morning - and within 5-6 hours the AX72 had Frozen (although I did also add the 3rd Powerline at the same time). I've now disabled Mesh on the AX72 again (but left if enabled on the Powerlines) - so I think by tomorrow morning if it's still stable that will prove the cause, and should be easy to recreate.
3. Yes there is an ISP Modem in front of the AX72. When it Freezes again I can try that. I was also planning on trying an Ethernet port on the AX72 itself too - it seems totally Frozen via WiFi, but to date I've not tried a wired connection when it Freezes.
As an aside - what happens with Mesh enabled on 3 Powerlines, but disabled on the AX72 ? Does it mean that devices using WiFi will connect to the Powerline with the strongest signal and move between them if the signal from another Powerline was stonger, but wouldn't connect to the AX72 even if that was the strongest signal (or likewise move from the AX72 to a Powerline) ? The WiFi network name is the same on all devices - even with Mesh disabled on the AX72.
Regards.
