Firmware Version : 3.11.10 build 100901 rel 52652n

Can an android tablet be connected to share files with a windows PC using the MR 3220 router. I assume if it is possible then the set up is done on the Android as I can already access the internet on the 3G via the router.

Any helpful advice would be appreciated

Cannot.
USB port on MR3220 is for 3G/4G USB dongles.

Vivian. The dongle is in the router USB port & I currently access the internet via the router with my android tablet. My enquiry relates to file sharing with another PC installed on the router LAN. I can share files from 1 windows PC to another windows PC. What I was asking if the android can be configured to recognise the wireless LAN network like the windows PC's do. If this can be done then then there should be no reason why the windows share files could not be read on the android.

Hi Dalek,

If we share files in Windows Media Player or some DLNA sever in the LAN/WLAN of TL-MR3220, I think these files can be visited in some ways.
I am using a DLNA sever in the LAN of TL-MR3220 and my other windows PC can visit it flawleslly :p
I haven't tried using Android to visit, but I think it's ok if we use proper software.

Thanks Lebron & Vivian, All works well now, got App for the Android - " es file manager". This now allows connection to wireless LAN. I can now navigate to & open files on the windows PC.
