Recently I bought this router and I have noticed drops on my adsl line. It does not reconnect automatically and I have to turn it off and then on again. Even such, I have to repeat several times in order to establish a connection.
I didn't have these problems with my previous router and sometimes I plug it in, just to verify that there is no problem with the line.
The router is connected directly to the wall, no filters, no splitters, no phones.
Is there a way to correct these issues, or am I to return it and buy another router?

Firmware of your W8960N is the latest version?
Change DSL mode to ADSL2 or G.DMT to see if it helps.
If not, can you get a replacement from the reseller?
