Model: Archer AX23
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 42048(4555)

Archer AX23, EU hardware version v1. Latest firmware 1.1.1 Build 20240822 Rel. 42048(4555) broke easymesh with wireless backhaul, works only with ethernet backhaul. I have two of that routers, easymesh was working perfectly for a year or so, since latest update I can't add satellite, I tried via web interface, using tether app and WPS, always get an error. I did reset both routers multiple time, lost half a day trying to get it to work. Ethernet backhaul is not an option for me.

EDIT

Downgraded both routers to firmare V1_1.1.0 Build 20230725, everything works again as it should.

Hi@bsabol79,

Did you set whitelist or blacklist on the main router? If it is convenient for you, can you update the firmware, then place both routers on the same room for a try?

If it still doesn't work, please help collect the system log and email support.forum@tp-link.com, attaching [Forum ID 785318] and details, and we will have a dedicated person to assist in analysis and follow-up.

  @Joseph-TP

I didn't have any devices whitelisted or blacklisted on my main router. When trying to add satellite, both routers were in the same room, couple of meters apart. Sorry but right now I don't have a time to mess around for couple of hours resetting both routers and flashing firmware since I got them to work properly on old firmware and I need the internet to work. Why not try it yourself, I'm sure you have couple of these devices lying around :)?
