Hello,
Is it possible to disable the archer c7 wifi when it is used in bridge mode?
I don't want the function of repeater with a second ssid, i just want to connect to an existing ssid and use the ethernet port of the archer c7.
Thanks in advance.

On the device itself, there is Wirless ON/OFF button, right?
If you turn it off, Wi-Fi function will be disabled.

The wireless on/off button disable all the wifi functionality.
I just want to disable the wifi repeater function but i need to bridge an existing wifi ssid.

Are you talking about WDS settings? Because C7 doesn't have repeater mode

The c7 has the repeater mode with wds. I currently connect the c7 to an existing wifi of my isp box, but exactly it repeat this wifi network with an other tp link wifi and i don't want the repeat mode, just the wifi client mode.

In WDS mode it's impossible you don't have "Disable Local Network Area"
But if you have v2 hardware version you can install Gargoyle and Client mode will be available.

Yes I have a v2, but this is what I want to avoid, I prefer to keep the original firmware.
