Model: Archer AX72 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20240426 rel.40133(4555)

Every night at about midnight, my router goes through this teardown and release, dropping the internet connection... I see via google it's a bug, but I can't see anything specific for this model. What are my options?

Re:Archer AX72 Pro 1.0 - Teardown and Release

Hi@xthesaintx,

Does the problem occur at a fixed time each time? How do you restore the network?

When the network is disconnected, please use other devices to directly connect to the modem to test whether the modem is providing network normally at this time?

Because it may be caused by the scheduled restart of the modem.

If the problem occurs at a fixed time, you can also set Reboot Schedule to restart the router: Go to Advanced > System Tools > Reboot Schedule.

In addition, please change a different Ethernet cable to connect the modem and router, and you can also try to modify the DNS: How to Change the DNS Servers on a TP-Link Wireless Router (New UI)

  @Joseph-TP
It happens at roughly the same time, not the same time.

I have to log in and manually renew the lease.

The local network remains intact, just WAN drops

There is no Reboot schedule enabled.

I have tried using the ISP provided DNS settings and

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

and I have swapped cables.

Still happens
