Archer VR2100 internet and telefon connection lost
For some time now we have had the problem that our Internet connection is lost and telephony is no longer possible.... I have to disconnect the device from the power supply and then the connection is re-established. Even a restart via the Thether app is not enough, I have to disconnect it from the power. I have already reset the factory settings, but that doesn't change anything. The loss of connection occurs irregularly, so I can't point to a faulty setting.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
Does the issue only happen after firmware upgrade?
If so, it is suggested to downgrade firmware to the previous one on the official website to compare.
If not, you may follow this guide to troubleshoot: What should I do if Internet connection on my TP-Link DSL modem is unstable?
Best regards.

@Marvin_S thanks for your answer.
Thanks the problem seems to be with Vodafone. I will report the recurring fault to them. Before that, I'll swap the TP Link router for another VX800 model to see if it improves.

@auslandjack2 yes there ist no new firmware.
I was hoping it would get better with the Last firmware update. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any way of logging the DSL router. That will be difficult to prove to Vodafone.

@Marvin_S Hey, thanks for asking. It currently looks like this. Vodafone has asked Telekom to send a technician to check the line. I opened a ticket and the outages were discovered and partially fixed. The technicians installed a new Telekom socket here on site. We have a building from 1959 or so and the copper lines have not yet been replaced. Unfortunately, our landlord doesn't do that. We are waiting for the fiber optic expansion, which the technician recommends, because the cost of replacing the cable is too high.
