Just upgraded to latest firmware 3.14.9, functionality is ok, but a very very important info under status is missing - the 3G signal strength in %, what happen?? It is a very important feature that tell me the 3G tower status at my remote area which frequently having problem compared to those in town. This info is also the ONLY reason i choose TP-LINK over any other brand in the world. Is TP-Link giving up such useful feature and drive potential customer away in the future?

Don't mention to downgrade the firmware or use MR-3420 v1 kind of thing. I do have v1 and the 3G signal strength shows in % and bar.

I have the same request. Please add the 3G/4G signal strength bar on Status page.

I have met similar problem.
And I have consulted tplink's tech support team, they replied me that they will re-add this function in next official firmware.
Some more accurate information, if all goes well, an official firmware of tl-mr3420 will be released within one or two months :p

For signal strength, I have downgraded the firmware to TL-MR3420_V2_121206, which still works well with signal strength:cool:

I registered only to post in this thread...

I agree, please bring back signal strength meter.

I am also missing wireless mod ONLY type. for example i want wireless mode only N i do not have this choice any longer. I only have Mixed modes.

In fact, my config import had an error due to this missing module.

I wish they would detail this information in the firmware notes.

I agree. Signal strength is very useful and important for 4G modems. Please add it back.
