Model: Deco BE65
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0_build_20250124_Beta

I updated to the beta version, and it seems that there might be an issue with DDNS. NAT loopback does not seem to be working.

The DS218+ NAS file request link can only be accessed using an external network.
When opening the link on a home computer, it fails to connect.

The V2 version seems to be continuously updated, while V1 is left behind.

Can I request a replacement for V2 under warranty?
The experience for V1 users is not very friendly.

Additionally, MLO only supports 5GHz + 6GHz and does not support 2.4GHz.

Some features seem unlikely to receive updates.

  @emrys Sorry to read of your trouble.  I have a BE95 and it is the same only 5 GHz and 6 GHz.  I think it used to be all bands in the very beginning of MLO.

About the difference between Version 1 and Version 2, it does seem like this is the way TP-Link does business.  Eventually the older versions seem unsupported but since the newer version is still supported they do not get labelled EOL, but sure feels like it.  Hopefully they can address your concern if it is still under warranty...

  @emrys

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

For the NAT Loopback issue, have you tested it with the IPV4 address+port instead of using the DDNS?

It is also suggested to check whether you have obtained a public IPV4 address here: https://whatismyipaddress.com/

The current IPV4 address should be the same as the IP address listed above.

Wait for your reply and Best regards.
