What does cloning look like ??
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WPA281
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have just set myself up with a WPA4220 kit. I only want to extend my existing network not create new.
First attempt created a new network but 2nd attempt created a network of same name as mine BUT when I check a wifi analyser app on my kindle fire it shows 2 networks named as my network. My original on channel 6 plus another one on channel 1. Both named same both with same access key but I don't know how to check if devices can roam between 2. Reason for the kit is primarily to give the Ethernet point behind tv but also to increase the wifi strength on ground floor where TV is.
Can a cloned extended network run on a different channel ??
Thanks for any help
Jon
