TP Link Archer AX23
Hi,
My current setup is ISP router feeding 3 x TP Link Archer's and a TP link switch which then originally fed 1 further TP Link Archer C6. All setup as AP's 2 were v3.2 and 2 were on V4.0 (all wired via CAT 6) but 3 are wired directly to the modem and one via the switch.
One Archer C6 v3.2 failed kept losing connection regardless of where I set it up (even directly to the router) so I went to replace it and they suggested an Archer AX23. I asked if it would create conflicts but i was told by my local shop it shouldn't as long as they are setup as AP's.
Now for some reason the new Archer AX23 also keeps losing connection so I am wondering if I have something wrong in my setup.
Again the new AX23 passes through a 16x port TP link 16 Port TP-Link 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Easy Smart Switch. Could the switch be causing inteference?

Is your network topology as below:
ISP router—switch—4 Archer routers
Note: — stands for wired connection, )))((( stands for wireless connection
If you have created easymesh network among Archer routers, please see:
When the main router works in Router mode, please note that the satellite router is requested to wired to the LAN port of the main router or a switch connected to main router’s LAN port to avoid a network loop.
When the router is set to work under Access Point mode, you can wire satellite router to any router unit or the main modem/router.
Take Deco Mesh Ethernet backhaul as an example:

2) — TP Link Archer C6 (Access Point)
3) — TP Link Archer C6 (Access Point)
4) — TP Link Archer C6 (Access Point)
I didnt set them up in Easymesh since i am not using any of the TP link routers in router mode but only in access point mode. I kept this setup and removed all DHCP functions from all access points since i had loads of conflicting IPs being assigned and I found that the Arris did the job well enough i thought.
Of course there is the possibility of me setting up as follows:
ISP Router in bridge mode — TP Link Switch - Archer AX23 (Router mode) — Switch — 3 x Archer C6 in access point mode
This way i would be able to setup an easymesh network right?

I think running a switch between your modem to your ax23 is pointless IMO as its a extra peice of equipment technically paying out for and running power in the background un needed.
I'm running 3x Ax72's V.01 in my network and 2 are running in AP mode.
One of my Ax72 is connected directly to my router via cat6 and the other is connected to a 24port UM tp link switch (both connected via cat6) so don't think it's because there's a switch in between
I used to have 2x c6 v3.2 and they was set up the same and had no issues with them just wanted to upgrade to complete wifi 6 coverage at my property.
Last i saw the v3.2 didn't support easy mesh (I haven't checked in a long time) so think you may end up with issues there as may not support it.
You should in theory be able to go without any issues especially in when putting satellites in AP mode,
and i do believe you can still build a easymesh network whilst using routers after a switch as long as they are linked back to your main router.
when I tried easymesh network one of my routers was attached to a switch and still worked via ethernet backhaul

Archer C6 v4 supports Easyemsh in AP mode via ethernet backhaul. Archer AX23 supports Easymesh ethernet backhaul as well.
So you can just join Archer AX23 via ethernetbackhaul as a satellite device and still have all routers in AP mode but in Easymesh - check this thread.
Archer C6 v3.2 doesn't support Easymesh so it has to be connected in plain AP mode.
