WDR4300 unstable wifi - appearantly random
Region : Netherlands
Model : TL-WDR4300
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 3.13.33 Build 130617 Rel.46239n
ISP : ziggo
My soho network is build around the WDR4300. At times it runs nicely. at times the whole wifi is just completely dropped :(
my setup; cable modem -- cat5 cable -- WDR4300 -- NAS (synology DS214)
all clients in the house are on wifi, and so is one HP officejet printer.
When wifi drops, sometimes there is no signal, sometimes there is, but completely no response from the WDR4300. When I do ping test when it does run, round times are nice 1 or 2ms, throughput is ok. I see no rogue guests on the DHCP list, I see no conflicting signals in the same wifi channel (using an app on my smartphone).
what can i do or test to see where this is coming from??
