There's no 'Internet' option under the 'Network' settings
There's no 'Internet' option under the 'Network' settings
The sim card is inserted but it doesn't provide internet. what's worse is that i can't edit the 'Internet' settings to input the correct APN because the 'Internet' part under 'Networks' IS NOT THERE! its frustrating. how do you unlock the router to support this sim card (Vodacom). please help

Hi, did you choose basic or advanced tab at the top? also which firmware do you have currently? could be firmware/ISP update for it
basic > internet
or
advanced > network > 3g/4g

even when i press Advanced > Network. i can't find 'Internet' under 'Network'.
even under 'basic'. i can't find a configurable 'Internet'
maybe this is because it's locked to 'vodacom business'. i just need someone to help unlock it to use this sim card

have you actually tried to update the firmware at all

when you login to the router it will tell near the bottom what version its at currently

@Muffinman im in south africa, hope it works.
is firmware update the same as ISP upgrade? is it the ssme thing?
where do i upload the firmware update after it's done downloading?

ISP update is just new ISP provider details (apn settings) the full firmware updates usually have them included aswell as fixes/ new features etc
to update firmware once downloaded providing it works i have no idea
login to router
advanced > system tools > firmware upgrade ======= browser to upgrade image/firmware
if its not allowing it an error message will appear.

@Muffinman hahaha the last part. i understan as im not tech savvy. all this is frustrating.
i think im just going to visit the the nearest ISP store to ask for help and see if they'll not unlock it for me since the router is locked by them.
