There's no 'Internet' option under the 'Network' settings
The sim card is inserted but it doesn't provide internet. what's worse is that i can't edit the 'Internet' settings to input the correct APN because the 'Internet' part under 'Networks' IS NOT THERE! its frustrating. how do you unlock the router to support this sim card (Vodacom). please help

It sounds like your router might be locked to a specific network or missing the correct APN settings option. Some routers, especially carrier-branded ones, restrict APN editing unless they are unlocked.
One possible solution is to check if there's a firmware update available for your Archer MR600, as some versions may have restrictions that newer firmware fixes. You can also try a factory reset and reinsert the SIM card to see if the "Internet" option appears.
If you're using an APK-based solution to manage network settings, like an Avatar World APK, you may need to look for alternative firmware or configuration tools that allow for manual APN input. For more information on managing APK-based network settings and virtual environments.

@Avatarlover hey, thank you for taking your time to reply.
omg, yes! sounds about right. it is locked.
muffinman has also pointed me to the direction of the firmware and that might be a sensitive area as im not tech savvy. i don't want to potentially mess up the router during the whole process.
i've decided to just get into a sim contract that'll work with this router. ISP providers are so greedy smh.
