Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.6.5

Why is it, after years of no problems my entire deco mesh drops the entire internet network, for no reason and without any warning. It is not the connection as when I connect directly to the modem the internet is working fine, it's just the deco mesh system that is constantly crashing almost daily. Nothing in changing on the system, it just stops all internet connection. I am about to sell the whole lot and never touch deco or to systems again, completely unreliable now, what have they done?

  @Rp440

Hi, welcome to the community.

May I know how long you have had the Deco M4?

Did any Deco turn red during the disconnection?

Here are some suggestions:

1. please replace a new Ethernet cable to connect the ISP modem to main Deco M4.

2. set a different Deco as the main Deco:How to replace the main Deco with another Deco

Wait for your reply and best regards.

Re:Deco randomly dropping all WiFi for no readon
Yesterday

  @Rp440 Yes. I've started experiencing this problem too after a long period of stable performance. My system consists of 6 Deco PX50 units. I've checked all the configuration settings and nothing seems wrong. I did recently upgrade firmware after a prompt from TPLink so my Deco units are all running; 1.2.3 Build 20240724 Rel. 28307.

The dropouts seem to occur randomly. The dropout seems to only last a few seconds then wifi restarts. I was sitting near on of Deco units when a dropout occurred. The usual 'green' light indicating normal operation remained on throught the dropout.

The only other anomaly I've noted is that when I try and view the system log on the TPLink Deco web interface the log is unable to be read.

I think the problem is most like associated with the firmware update.
