I have a Deco mesh wifi set up behind the Modem/Router provided by my ISP. If I connect to the Internet through the Mesh wifi, google is displayed in Russian, and Google Maps shows my location in Moscow, Russia. If I connect directly through the ISP's Router, it works as expected. It's the same for all my home devices (iOS, Android, Windows, Ubuntu, MacOS). No VPN or proxy is configured in the Deco network. DNS is set to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8; also tried the ISP's own DNS servers, no change.  ISP also checked everything on site, and no issues were found; since their router/modem works as expected, the ball is with you and me. Seemingly the Deco is routing the traffic to Russia, what is really weird, since I'm in Hungary.

On any device connected to Deco mesh, open web site www.whatismyip.com and it will tell you how Internet sees your location.

 

Change Deco mesh to Access Point mode, and the problem should go away: Switching a Deco to Access Point (AP) Mode

I suggest comparing the response given by https://test-ipv6.com/ when going thru the Deco or not.

thanks for your reply. My IP location is shown correctly if I use www.whatismyip.com or similar services. But Google services show my location in Russia.
Switching to AP mode might help, but in that case, I lose a couple of features such as parental control and IP forwarding, so it's not an option for me.
