Youtube and Google services not working on Deco M5

Hi there,
I have 3 Deco M5 with the following issues:
- Youtube playback does not work on smartphones (it plays for about 10 seconds, then stops forever)
- Apps cannot be downloaded or updated from Play Store
Laptops seem to work fine and my desktop PC which is connected via ethernet does not present the issues.
I tried using Google's DNS and it did not work.
When I use VPN on any of the devices affected (smartphones), things work as well.
Not sure when the problem started, but likely since the last firmware update.
I've seen other users with the same problem on the M5 and other models and none seemed to have a proper fix.
Please let me know if it can be fixed.
Thank you for your reply. After your response, I tried disabling 'mesh technology' in all smartphones, then rebooted my decos to restart the connection but the problem still happens.
As for the DNS, I've tried all possibilities (under DHCP, under internet connection and both). All these tests were made prior to the original post.
As I said before, the apps never get updated . They keep trying to download for a long time (pending...) and then it stops and shows 'Couldn't update'. Here is a screenshot as an example:
