Only 2.4G network is showing up

So I have turned off the Smart Connect feature and have setup different names for 5G SSID and 2.4G SSID yet all of my devices can only see the 2.4G network. What should I do?
Both SSID lights are on and Hide SSID option is off for both.

Hi,
Is your BE230 a "US" version or a "EU" version?
On a EU version you may have to wait for at least 10 minutes after you changed any settings for the 5 GHz network.

@woozle Hey thanks for replying, how would I check to see if I have the US or EU version?
Regardless, it has been setup for about a month now and ever since the 5g network has never been detected by any devices.

To find the region of the router flip it upside down and check whether the white label on the back reads "Model: Archer BE230(EU)" or "Model: Archer BE230(US)".
Anyway, please test what happens if you change the "5 GHz Channel" from "Auto" to channel "36" in the web management interface of the BE230.
Channel 36 should work in most parts of the world with most devices. (the only country I am aware of where channel 36 shouldn't be used is Bangladesh, where channel 149 should be selected)
If you have set the Archer BE230 to channel 36 and still none of your devices can see the 5 GHz Wi-Fi, then you should contact the retailer or local service for warranty service.
