I am trying to configure my wireless mini pocket router to act as a repeater, boosting existing wifi signal. As I am part of a block of flats receiving the same wifi signal, I am unable to link directly to the source, therefore require a completely wireless approach. The instruction sheet that came with the router says to log onto http://tplinklogin.net, enter the admin username and password and follow the various instructions for configuring the router. I tried that web address and it's just a page advertising links related to TP-links and wireless routers. I have looked on the main tp-link.com website and can not find an alternative, appropriate page for configuring my router. Does anyone know why this website doesn't function as it is advertised to? And how do I go about configuring my router if it is meant to be done online?

Many thanks!

please reset and type http://tplinklogin.net again. Or you can refer to the label on the bottom of the router.

I agree...the web site is worthless

It's true. The website "http://tplinklogin.net" returns some advertising site that has nothing to do with setting up a router. PLEASE give us a valid web address or some other means of configuring the tl-wr710n.

Apparently there is no other way of doing it.

Hey, bobarber

I know what happened. The domian http://tplinklogin.net is registered by others rather than TP-LINK.
When the internet is not available, you can log in the WR710 through http://tplinklogin.net.
If you can see the advertising site, it means you have already accessing internet. Ensure you are connecting the WR710 via cable. Try again.

The default IP address of WR710 or other TP-LINK mini router is 192.168.0.254. You can also use this IP address to log in.
