Firmware Version: 1.3

In the last 2-3 weeks, the iOs Deco App was updated and the ability to chose which frequency a device is on is now no longer there.

This is breaking my network as many of my iOt devices have to be on 2.4ghz and the deco systems keeps kicking them off.

Also, I have a farm and I need certain devices to be on 2.4ghz so they have the range needed to reach them.

Can you please bring back that feature ASAP?

I am using 3 x X60's in my house and an X50 outdoor

Hi, welcome to our community.

May I confirm the version of your Deco app on your iPhone?

It is suggested to share us the log(mention forum ID 747608) in the email: How to submit Deco APP log

If you Android phone, you may install the latest Deco app from Google Play to check.

Thank you and best regards.

@farmer_matt If i'm not mistaken, it's still there.

Go to "More" tab> WiFi settings in the Deco app, tap on the "Network name (SSID)" & "Password" section, then tap on "Advanced".

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

@ImtiazAli - I am looking for the feature that allowed you to do it on a device by device basis, not the whole network. It's the main reason I went with TP-link mesh over the other ones. I didn't have to create two seperate networks and hop between them to do stuff like edit device settings or print something.

You used to be able to chose your router to see your clients, chose the device and then chose two things:

- if the device auto choses which router to be on or set it to one repeater/router

- which frequency it would be on

it was the killer feature of the app / devices and now they have taken it away and I can't go back in iOs. The web application is just for setup with none of the features I am talking about.

  @Marvin_S - I am using version 3.8.157 on ios 18.3

but I dont think that logs are going to show anything. I cannot edit the devices (clients) on my network like I could before.

I am talking about making my smart locks be on the 2.4ghz band while I have my smart phones on the 5ghz band.

I also can not chose which router the clients connect to anymore. I used to be able to make my stationary items like smart locks attach to their nearest deco instead of "auto".

Unless this feature has moved somewhere else?

I used to be able to go to CLIENTS > chose a device > then chose frequency + router/repeater preference

Hi, thanks for your update.

I understand your needs. As abnormal thing happened after app udpate, we need to collect app log for further analysis.

If you have rebooted the phone or checked on another phone, it is suggested to share us the app log referring to the thread.

I don't know what happened but I checked my phone just now and all the old setting to allow me the frequency are back in place. No idea why they went missing but now I can fix my network. Thank you for the support and we can consider this closed. Now that I think about it, I DID RESTART MY PHONE LAST NIGHT. Maybe that fixed it?
