Firmware Version: Latest

Hello,

I've recently bought this adapter and for some reason, the speed results are even worse than my old one.

I'm getting, on a 6GHZ wifi up to 50 mb/s download and 600 mb/s upload, which is very weird.

Do I have a to tweak the settings of the wifi card in windows system ?

Thank you

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

You may follow the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Install the latest driver from the official website.

2. Ensure the adapter is is connected to a USB 3.0 and above port on your computer.

3. Adjust adapter settings:

1)Access the advanced settings for your Wi-Fi adapter:
>>Open "Control Panel" and go to "Network and Sharing Center."
>>Click on "Change adapter settings."
>>Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select "Properties."
>>Click on "Configure" and navigate to the "Advanced" tab.
2) Look for settings like "Wireless Mode," "Channel Width," or "Roaming Aggressiveness." Set the "Channel Width" to 160 MHz for better performance.

3) Find "Power Saving Mode" and set it to "Off".

4.Changing the channel on your router might help. Use a less congested channel for your 6 GHz band.

5. Ensure there is no obstruction between your computer and the router, excessive distance or obstacles can significantly reduce the speed. Try to test it close to the router.

6. If possible, test the speed on another computer connected to the same 6 GHz network to see if the issue is specific to the adapter.

Best regards.

  @Marvin_S Hi Marvin,

Thanks for your response.

Although I've managed to change the protocole used into the peripheral settings of my PCIE adapter, I can't figure out how to set it to 160MHz.

I'm actually using Windows 11, and I've scrolled around the advanced settings but I can't find the Channel Width setting.

Would you have more info on that ?
