Good afternoon, specialists,

As a non-expert, I have a question about the best possible combination of Ziggo and TP-Link WiFi extenders.

I currently have a Ziggo SmartWifi modem, with three wired SmartWifi pods—one on each floor—and one wireless pod outside under the canopy. However, I notice that the setup is not optimal, so I assume it could be improved.

Now, my question is: is it simply a matter of replacing the Ziggo pods with TP-Link extenders and having it work? Or is there more to consider?

Het liefst antwoorden in het Nederlands, maar uiteraard met IA géén probleem.

Most probably an RE will give you more wireless coverage than the Ziggo pods.

If you decide to do that here's a guide on how to place your REs for optimal reception and performance.

Keep in mind that together with the modem software update, the new SmartWifi pods create a mesh wifi network throughout your home or office:

Most probably TP-Link REs are not compatible with that technology and you may not be bale to build a wireless mesh in your premises.
