Firmware Download
Before the Upgrade
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the pre-release firmware!
(2) For the sake of insurance, it's always recommended to save a copy of the router Backup Config file before upgrading or downgrading.
(3) You may follow the guide to upgrade the firmware of your router. How to Upgrade the Firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers.
(4) This pre-release firmware for Archer BE800 V1 can be applied to all versions (EU/US/CA/AU/SG/etc.).
(5) To use the new 3-band MLO connection, both the router and client device must support Wi-Fi 7 and 3-band MLO. Please note that most Wi-Fi 7 smartphones and network adapters may only support 2.4GHz + 5GHz or 2.4GHz + 6GHz when connecting to the MLO Network.

@Clanchef089 @Kevin_Z those test are with the Samsung S24 ultra, not S25 ultra.
But may be similar.
The service menu screenshot in the S25 ultra shows 802.11 be. The Samsung S24 does not have this.
That's why i am waiting for the new Android/OneUI 7 update for the S24 ultra and test again.
Clanchef089, my S24 ultra when connected via MLO, loses connection to 6 GHz for example and then connects to 5 GHz.
But the link is never recovered when i want back to my BE800.
Only a reconnection to the MLO SSID fixes this.
I will wait for the new Android update to start testing again.
Extra information:
2.4 GHz 40 MHz + 6 GHz 160 MHz MLO 'works' with data flow on both channels.
But when 6 GHz is 320 MHz, only data is flowing via 6 GHz. As 320 MHz seems the maximun WiFi 7 can use in general.
I have confirmed this with a hackrf spectrum analyzer.
That's why MLO is useless for now when using WiFi 7 in one room close by. Just use 6 GHz.
I hope one day Samsung/TP-Link can use 5 GHz 160 MHz + 6 GHz 320 MHz together so we can use around 5-6 Gbps of WiFi 7!

So we have 3 major bugs:
1. MLO does not work in a TP-Link Easy Mesh Network with BE800 and BE550. The MLO Network does not show up on any BE550.
2. MLO Connection just works for 2.4/5 Ghz stable and does not for 6GHz/5Ghz or 6GHz/2.4 GHz.
-> This behavior can be confirmed for - Ubuntu and Qualcom Wifi 7 Network card and - Samsung s25 ultra (Android 15) - Samsung S24 Ultra (Android 14)
3. Samsung S25 Ultra disappears from connected device list as soon as it is in MLO Network. Appears again if connected to 6G. Ubuntu Laptop shows up in Connected device list as MLO connected device (but only 5Ghz and no real MLO at all)
Who else can confirm this?

@Kajkac Could you please confirm if there are other changes in the network except for the firmware upgrade on the BE800?
Alternatively, can you observe whether there is any specific activity in the network that triggers the reboot?
Please reset the BE800 to factory defaults and then reconfigure it from scratch to check if it will help.

@Clanchef089 Does this mean the Samsung S25 Ultra doesn't show up in the client list of the BE800 when it's connected to the MLO Network? But the Ubuntu Laptop shows up?
I have no idea why this happens, maybe others can confirm?

Yes correct. Ubuntu Laptop with Qualcomm Wifi7 Card shows up if MLO connected but not the S25 Ultra. If I change the network to 6G or 5/2.4G then it is in the list :-). I also use homeassistant with TP-Link integration and the S25 Ultra shows up regardless of the network. This is strange :-)

Another issue is the following: Since a while my notebook (ubuntu 24.10 with 6.14 kernel) does not "see" 6G Wifi from BE800 anymore. If I am nearby the BE550 the 6G wifi is visible again and can be connected. The Samsung S25 Ultra can see and connect to both MLO and 6G Wifi networks from BE800.

@Clanchef089 Regarding the Samsung S25 Ultra doesn't show up in the client list issue when connecting to the MLO Network, could you please check if you enable Private MAC address on the phone? What if you disable it, will it show up correctly?

@Clanchef089 Does this mean the 6G connection on the notebook (ubuntu 24.10 with 6.14 kernel) is not stable?
BTW, are you using different SSIDs for the 6G network on these three routers? If not, how do you verify if you're connecting to the BE550's 6G or the BE800's?
